In Matthew 22:37, Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind," and in v39, He said that we are to, "Love your neighbor as yourself." 

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus gave us the "Great Commission" when He said, "Go make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

From the "Great Commandment" and the "Great Commission" we have derived our purpose statement: "Loving God; Loving Others; Impacting Our World."

No need to wear suit and tie at Bethany.  Jesus accepted people the way they were, and we feel as though we should do the same.  Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church home, or whether you are just passing through, we would love to have you come worship with us.
