Bethany Baptist Women’s Jail Ministry
Each Tuesday evening a Bible study is presented to the women in Johnson County Jail. Along with prayer, fellowship and encouragement we present Christ to women at a critical time in their lives, offering hope and acceptance through the love of Jesus, the strength of the Holy Spirit and the forgiveness of the Father God. With the help of fellow Christians, we give a Bible to everyone who doesn’t have one. We arrange baptism for any lady desiring it while incarcerated and coach them about lifestyle changes. If needed we offer assistance after their release in the way of finding shelter, jobs, clothing etc.
